Dr Yan Zong

Yan received his B.Eng. degree with First Class Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2016 and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2020, both from Northumbria University, U.K. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China, since 2022, and also a part-time postdoc at Purple Mountain Laboratories, China, since 2024. Before that, he held a research fellow position at Cranfield University, U.K., from 2021 to 2022.

His research interests span across multiple disciplines, including control and communications, with a focus on synchronisation and its standardisation.
